How To Use Fetch
The Ultimate Fetch Referral Guide
By Wes Schroll
November 2, 2023
Whenever I’m walking down the street, people ask me, “Wes, why did you decide to start Fetch? Was it fame? Fortune? The desire to give everyday people free gift cards to renowned retailers just for making regular purchases?”
Besides telling these strangers “no, no, yes,” I also tell them I started this company with the mission of making Fetch contagious. I wanted to make something that people can be excited to share with their friends, family, co-workers, complete and total strangers– and maybe even enemies.
And that’s why I’m here today, to tell you about how fun, easy, AND rewarding it is to refer folks to Fetch.
How to refer a friend on Fetch
At Fetch, we take pride in being the easiest rewards app in the game, and our referral process is no different.
- To refer a friend, all you have to do is open your Fetch app, press the “account” tab in the bottom right of your screen, and choose “Refer a friend” on the following page.
- This will take you to your referral code, which you can share via text, email, or your preferred app. There’s even a pre-written message ready to go!
If you need additional ideas on how to guilt your friends onto Fetch, feel free to use some ideas we came up with!
How to find your Fetch referral code
From there, you need to know about your referral code. Everyone on Fetch gets a unique six-character code that links back to your own account. To find your referral code simply select the account tab, select refer a friend, and you’ll see your unique QR code and referral code. Here’s what that looks like:
When you share this code with someone else, and after they download Fetch and snap a receipt, you’ll earn your referral points! It’s great, you’ll love it I promise.
How do you see your referrals on Fetch
If you’ve ever wondered how you see your referrals in the app simply go to your referral code and switch to the “my referrals” tab to see all your previous referrals. You can also see what your referrals are doing by switching over to the social tab and viewing the feed, leaderboard, and friends tabs. Looks something like this:
Now, you shouldn’t need to convince your friends to join the greatest shopping app out there, but you can get a little creative with how you welcome them to the club. We’ve seen people put their referral code on business cards, LinkedIn banners, cocktail napkins–you name it. If you come up with a REALLY great way to share your referral code, we just may want to talk to you…
In the meantime, see ya on the leaderboard!
