Fetch With Friends: How to Earn Big Points by Referring Friends

By Wes Schroll

April 14, 2025

When I came up with the idea for Fetch, my goal was to not only create an app but also help build a community. Think about it: so many things are more fun when done with your friends than by yourself.

That’s where the concept of Fetch With Friends came into the picture. I wanted to find a way to reward users for everything they do throughout the week (shopping, gaming, dining out, and more) and create something that people would be genuinely excited to share with their friends, family, co-workers, and even complete and total strangers.

Here’s how fun, easy AND rewarding it is to refer folks to Fetch.

Refer your friends and fam to Fetch and get rewarded - Share your referral code

Why refer friends to Fetch?

There are lots of ways to earn points on Fetch, such as snapping receipts, playing games, and shopping online. However, one of the easiest ways to earn points is by referring others.

You and your crew can earn points together, share offers with each other, compete on the leaderboard (what’s friendship without a little friendly competition?) and celebrate your rewards together. That makes referring friends to Fetch a win-win(-win-win)!

When you Fetch with your friends, you’ll always get at least 2,000 points for every person you refer to the app who signs up and snaps their first receipt, and they’ll get 2,000 points, too! Best of all, there’s no limit to the amount of referrals you can get, which means you can earn BIG points fast.

Plus, a few times each month we offer even more points for every referral, so you’ll want to keep an eye out for those bonus periods 👀 The best way to find out when those are happening is to follow us on Instagram.

How to refer a friend to Fetch

Something we take pride in is making it so easy to Fetch with your friends.

To refer a friend, simply:

  1. Open the Fetch app.
  2. Tap your account tab at the bottom-right of your screen.
  3. Once on your account page, choose “Refer a friend.” This will take you to your referral code, which you can share via text, email, or your preferred app. There’s even a pre-written message ready to go!

If you need additional ideas on how to convince your friends to join Fetch, feel free to use some ideas we came up with!

How to find your Fetch referral code

You’ll need to use your referral code in order to get rewarded for referring friends to Fetch. Everyone on Fetch gets a unique six-character code that is linked to your account. To find your referral code, click on your account tab (in the bottom-right right of your screen) and select “Refer a friend.” Once you do, you’ll see your unique QR code and referral code. Here’s what it looks like:

When you share this code with someone else, and after they download Fetch and snap a receipt, you’ll earn your referral bonus!

How do you see your referrals on Fetch

If you’ve ever wondered how you see your referrals in the app, go to your referral code and switch to the “My referrals” tab to see all your previous referrals. You can also see what your referrals are doing by switching to the “Social” tab and viewing the feed, leaderboard and friends tabs. It looks something like this:

Now, you shouldn’t need to convince your friends to join America’s Rewards App, but you can get creative with how you welcome them to the club. We’ve seen people put their referral code on business cards, LinkedIn banners, cocktail napkins–you name it. If you find a great way to share your referral code, we’d love to hear from you!

Happy referring—and remember, the more you Fetch With Friends, the more rewarding (and fun) Fetch gets.
