Celebrate National Taco Day With Fetch

By James Robinson

August 30, 2024

We’re kinda over some annual celebrations. Arbor Day? Meh. Valentine’s Day? Don’t get us started. Groundhog Day? Great movie, terrible day.

But National Taco Day? That’s one we can get behind, and we’d like the whole Fetch fam to get behind it, too. Enough support and we’ll create an official national holiday during which everyone skips work and the president officially pardons one Black Bean Supreme 🌮

So, consider this less a quick overview of National Taco Day and more mobilization orders. Regular Taco Tuesday is great and all, but no way should trees have a national holiday when tacos don’t.

When is National Taco Day?

The sacred day falls on October 4th each year and has done so since National Taco Day began in 2009. Besides offering the ideal excuse to indulge in a savory tortilla liberally stuffed with anything from seasoned vegetables to grilled seafood, it’s a time to take advantage of deals both at restaurants and at grocery stores for your favorite fixins.

Shop offers on your favorite taco ingredients

Not to brag (much), but Fetch makes tacos more rewarding every day of the year.

Downloading our shopping rewards app helps you earn points and turn them into free gift cards, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. You’ll also unlock personalized offers from a whole host of brands ready to help you earn tons of rewards on National Taco Day, including:

  • Old El Paso
  • Arbo
  • Taco Bell Grocery
  • Sargento
  • Fuzzy’s Taco Shop

Where to find great deals on National Taco Day

This year’s National Taco Day deals have yet to be announced, but 2023’s hint at what to expect. Be sure to check with your favorite local taco shop to find out about this year’s deals.

  • Taco Del Mar: Offered $10 off an order of $20 or more.
  • Taco Bell: Offered two crunchy tacos and two Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos for just $5.
  • Moe’s Southwest Grill: Gave guests a free Eggo taco (yes, Eggo).
  • Fuzzy’s Taco Shop: Treated Fuzzy’s Rewards members to two free Baja Tacos with any $5 minimum purchase.
  • Primos: Offered three Baja Tacos for only $6.75.
  • Bubbakoo’s Burritos: Gave away free tacos and awarded 15 lucky patrons with free taco trio entrees for a year.
  • Taco John’s: Rewards program members got a free Taco Bravo with any purchase.

Does Taco Bell have free tacos on National Taco Day?

Sadly not, but last year welcomed back their popular Taco Lover’s Pass® offer that let Rewards Members spend just $10 to redeem a taco a day for 30 days. They also debuted their all-new Toasted Breakfast Tacos. Yum!
