Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup dried bread crumbs
  • ⅓ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup shortening
  • 12 fluid ounces tomato-based chili sauce
  • 1 ¼ cups grape jelly

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, onion, bread crumbs and salt. Mix well and shape into meatballs. 
  2. Add shortening to a large skillet and melt over medium heat. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat, and place meatballs on paper towels for excess shortening to drain off.
  3. To the skillet, add jelly and chili sauce and heat. Continue stirring until jelly is melted.. Return meatballs to skillet, and stir them in the sauce to coat. 
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.

  2. Set on LOW and cook for two hours or until ready to serve.

  • 1 boneless pork loin roast (2.5 lbs)
  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce–we love Kraft!
  • 8 large sandwich buns (for serving)
  • Water as needed

Directions:

  1. Place the pork loin in your slow cooker and add enough water to cover the bottom of the bowl.
  2. Set on LOW and cook for 7 hours. 
  3. Remove meat and transfer it to a bowl to shred. (Pro tip: use two forks to claw the meat apart).
  4. Return meat to the slow cooker and stir in barbeque sauce.
  5. Continue warming on LOW for 45 minutes to an hour before serving.

  • 1 package (2 lbs) loaf cheese
  • 1 cup 2% reduced-fat milk

Directions:

  1. In a slow cooker, combine cheese, milk, seasoned beef and chili powder.

Directions:

  1. In a large skillet, add spinach and a small amount of water.

  3. Drain spinach and set aside.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine

  6. Stir in spinach to combine, and transfer mixture to your slow cooker.
  7. Cover and cook on LOW heat for at least an hour or until heated through.
