What Are Secret Levels in Merge Dragons?
Unlike normal levels in Merge Dragons, Secret Levels are hidden from plain view on the map and only reveal themselves when tapped; sometimes Secret Levels can be found hidden behind suspicious-looking items on the map. It’s estimated that, of the roughly 500 total levels, there are 52 Secret Levels. Like normal levels, you can earn items when you complete a Secret Level.

Remember those Challenge Levels we mentioned above? As we said, there are quite a few of them (close to 60 at last count), so we wanted to offer up some hints to help you complete some of the ones we get asked about most.
How to Beat Challenge 12
To beat Challenge 12, tap the bones, merge them with others in the Super Dead Land, activate Heal Extenders, and continue merging items with ones in the Dead Land.
How to Beat Challenge 16
To beat Challenge 16, the trick is to first merge the five dragon eggs and the five small mushrooms; if you don’t start this way, you will be unable to proceed. You also need to tap on the totem once it appears in order to get life flowers you can then harvest.
How to Beat Challenge 19
To beat Challenge 19, there are a couple different strategies you’ll have to employ. You’ll want to ignore the zomblins entirely and instead just focus on freeing the statues; if you do both of these things and get the statues to where you’re able to merge them, while also utilizing your combo orbs wisely, you can likely complete the challenge fairly quickly.
How to Beat Challenge 20
To beat Challenge 20, you’ll want to focus on merging 5 items at once whenever possible, as this will help you clear the board more quickly. At the same time, you need to keep your dragons busy harvesting life orbs and, again, merge them at least by 5s to get the most healing power. You’ll also need to unlock the Dead Land, which you can do by merging objects near it whenever possible.
How to Beat Challenge 21
Similarly, to beat Challenge 21, you need to merge the items by 5s rather than by 3s; if you only merge 3 when you can merge 5, completing the level becomes impossible, and you’ll be forced to start over.
How to Beat Challenge 22
To beat Challenge 22, follow the steps laid out in this user walkthrough, and (since speed is a necessity), you’ll want to tap the item you wish to move and then tap the destination square, rather than taking the time to drag the item.
How to Beat Challenge 24
To beat Challenge 24, again you’ll want to focus on merging 5 items rather than 3. You’ll also want to prioritize merging life flowers in order to acquire life orbs more quickly, so you can then merge the orbs to get at least up to Giant Life Orb level. At the same time, you’ll want to make sure you keep your dragons harvesting while ensuring they limit themselves to high-level flowers or items you already have.

How to Bubble in Merge Dragons
To “bubble” items in Merge Dragons, fill up all available spaces, so there’s no room for a new item to land. Then go to merge three items but tap elsewhere on the map as you hold the item; this will pop the item into a bubble since there’s nowhere for it to land on the map. You can then move the bubble around or simply hold onto it for future use.

How to Get Egg Storage in Merge Dragons
Egg Storage is a feature that lets you store eggs and free up space in your camp. To get Egg Storage, you’ll need at least 3 open tiles, and, most critically, you’ll need at least 125 dragon power.
Once you have your Egg Storage, all you need to do to put it to use is drag and drop an egg into the Egg Storage.
If you wish to remove an egg from Egg Storage, simply tap the egg you wish to take out, then tap the “Retrieve” button.
