Fetch Hacks to Earn the Most Points on a Single Receipt

You use Fetch in order to get rewarded and earn free gift cards, but getting those gift cards will take longer than needed if you’re only getting 25 points on your receipts. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have time to waste on shopping trips where I’m only earning the bare minimum in rewards. That’s why I use the following strategy which, when used correctly, is guaranteed to keep your point balance ka-chinging like a slot machine when you hit the jackpot.

How to get the most Fetch Points on a every receipt

You probably know many of the different ways you can earn Fetch Points, but the key to really racking up your rewards is to stack these three strategies and use them in tandem with one another. If you do these three things all at once, you’ll be earning Fetch gift cards faster than ever before.

  1. Always check your personalized offers before shopping: If you’re not browsing your offers in advance, you’re doing it wrong! Offers are your first key to big points, so always see what products you can earn on, and be willing to try new brands (you might just discover a new favorite!). Then don’t forget to “like” your favorite offers to add them to your list and make shopping a breeze!
  2. Buy as many Boosted brands as you can: Once you’ve favorited the different offers that jump out at you, head to the Boosts tab (to the right of your offers on the home screen) to find out which brands will earn you points per dollar on their products. Your rewards start adding up really quickly when you’re earning 5 points per dollar on this brand, 10 points per dollar on that brand, and even more on Super Boost and Max Boost items.
  3. Once you have all your offers and Boosts on your shopping list, place your order through Fetch Shop: Fetch Shop lets you do your online shopping directly through our app and, similar to Boost, will earn you points per dollar when shopping at our partner retailers. Whether you’re placing your weekly grocery order at Target or stocking up for this weekend’s big party at Sam’s Club, you’ll earn even more rewards when placing your order online through Fetch Shop.

Maximizing your Fetch Points on each receipt is as easy as one-two-three using the above strategy! But since I couldn’t help myself, here’s one additional hack to add to the mix to really put your point balance over the top:

  • Bonus Hack – Treat yourself to some Fetch Play gaming: Remember all that time you saved not driving to the store because you smartly placed an online order using Fetch Shop? Spend the time you would’ve spent getting to the store and back (30 minutes? 40 minutes? more?) playing games in your Fetch Play library. With Fetch Play, you’re not “wasting time” on your phone – you’re earning even more points that’ll net you free gift cards and allow you to actually save money and offset your monthly spending.

The true story of how I double-dipped and earned big on back-to-school shopping with Fetch

It’s back-to-school shopping season right now, which means I need to pick up everything on my soon-to-be-3rd-grader’s school supply list. Last year, I drove to the store (like a fool!) and then proceeded to spend 45 minutes scouring the now-thrashed back-to-school and office supply aisles to try and find everything on the list. I was having to maneuver around countless other frantic shoppers, find items that weren’t put back where they should have been, and deal with the fact that a couple of the items I needed to get weren’t in stock anymore.

After that, I told myself, “Never again.”

This year, I wisely decided to skip the ill-fated trip to the store and instead placed the order for my son’s school supplies at Walmart online through Fetch Shop.

I reviewed my offers and what do you know? Fetch was running a 500-point offer on Elmer’s products (glue sticks = check!) and another 500-point offer on Expo products (dry erase markers = check!). Between those two offers alone, I knew I’d be getting at least 1,000 points on this shopping haul.

And then I ordered everything I needed from Walmart using Fetch Shop. At the time I placed the online order, Walmart purchases could earn 5 points for every dollar spent. And you know there were more than just glue sticks and dry erase markers on my list.

All in all, I got an immediate 1,000 points for the two offers I redeemed (I definitely could have spent a few more minutes to identify even more point-earning offers – I’ll do better next time!), and I earned another 538 points on my qualifying Fetch Shop purchases, which will be deposited in my account once Walmart’s return window closes. My final 1,538-point receipt laughed in the face of all the sad 25-point receipts out there.

And not only did I earn a ton of points double-dipping, but I also saved myself all the time and frustration of going to the store and having to track everything down. Not too shabby!

Say goodbye to 25-point receipts with these Fetch hacks

Use the point-stacking strategy I outlined above, and your 25-point receipts will quickly become a thing of the past. So start shopping your offers with intent, buy Boosted brands when you can, and bring it all home by placing your order through Fetch Shop. Do these three things, and you’ll have plenty of time left over for a round or two of Top Troops or Word Farm Adventure, all while earning more points than ever before in the process!
