How can I pass levels in Zen Match?
All given tiles need to be collected to win each level. All you do is match three of the same icons, and the only rule is that you can have a maximum of seven tiles in your hand at once.
How to beat harder levels In Zen Match
Zen Match is meant to challenge your mental acuity, so harder levels can be testing. Here are some tips to conquer those trials:
- Save coins to buy boosters when you really need them.
- Reserve boosters for truly challenging levels.
- Always keep an eye out for potential matches.
- Think about each layer of the board to anticipate what tiles will be exposed next and plan ahead.
- Keep one eye on the amount of space left in the tile bar at the bottom of your screen.
How do lives work in Zen Match?
You’ll lose one life whenever you fail a level. One life will be replenished every half hour, so you’ll never have to wait too long for another attempt to beat that stage. You can see how many you have by checking out the heart-shaped icon on the home screen.
What are boosters in Zen Match?
Boosters give you an added… well, boost as you cruise through each level.
You can pick a few before even starting a level so they’re ready to help when you’re in a jam, including:
- Paper Plane: Removes 3 identical tiles from the board or (if the tile doesn’t have 3 matching tiles) takes tiles from both the board and your hand.
- Single Use Extra Slot: Temporarily expand your holder to fit up to 8 tiles instead of 7.
- Spring: Bounces 3 tiles from the board to a spot just above the holder, creating more board space and introducing more flexibility to a match.
Boosters you choose within a level include:
- Booster Blast: You can unleash the Booster Blast whenever you like… as long as its timer hasn’t hit zero.
- Magnet: Clears the right-most tile in your holder and any tiles it matches on the board.
- Shuffle: Mixes the remaining tiles on your board to create new opportunities for matches.
- Super Undo: Places 3 tiles back on the board so you can rethink your strategy.
- Undo: Rewinds your last move to save you from momentary blunders.

Simply open the level chest after passing each level or complete the daily Zen Match puzzle to get more coins for free.
What are gems in Zen Match?
Collect a gem each week through frequent play. Once you pass each level, you can add a level to the gems in your collection. Once you reach the desired gem level in your progress bar, simply collect your reward and add the gem to your collection.
